VOICES FROM THE COUCH

Voices from the Couch

NEXT: Wednesday, 1 December at 7pm

Join us for an informal conversation via Zoom where you can voice your thoughts on issues that matter to you.

Whether it’s national issues like climate change, media diversity, integrity and Covid-management, or local issues like solar panels, overdevelopment and our schooling......we want to know what’s important to you.

From this conversation we are going to compile our collective concerns into a report to give our local representatives - so they can hear it clearly from the voices of Wentworth.

Sessions will be held on the first Wednesday of each month. Join us Wednesday, 1 December at 7pm. Register here.

Voices in the Pub

Imperial Hotel, Paddington

Wednesday, 16 June

A hearty thank you to everyone who made our first Voices in the Pub such a wonderful event -

the conversation was flowing with theissues we care about! Top local concerns were the desire for a greater sense of community and activities, environmental issues from Electric Vehicle Infrastructure to protection of the canopy, and high school education. From a Federal perspective - climate was the number one concern while the government's rollout of the Covid vaccine and lack of education around it was a close second.

Voices of Wentworth meet and work on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people living in, working in, or visiting Wentworth.
